Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to ensure the smooth operation of an association management company by handling a variety of tasks. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who excels in multitasking and is comfortable interacting with staff, association members, vendors, and stakeholders. The Administrative Assistant will help maintain efficient office operations, including serving as the first point of contact for phone calls, handling incoming inquiries, opening and processing mail, assisting with membership and event registration processing, and providing additional support as needed.

Position pays $19/hour, weekdays, flexible start/end time, up to full-time (40hrs/wk). The position is IN-office (West Allis), starting as soon as possible.  Benefits are provided following a successful 60-day probationary period. Coordinator

Coordinator team members work together to manage all the administration and events of the 19 membership-based association clients. The ability to expertly multi-task is necessary for success in this role. Having exceptional communication skills and a pattern of unwavering follow-through are paramount essentials for this customer service centric role. Experience in association management is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in providing exceptional, personalized customer-service
  • Organized, proactive method in handling professional correspondence with individuals and groups
  • Experience in taking on the ownership and management of multiple concurrent tasks/projects
  • Explorative learning style and comfort with familiarizing self on a variety of communication platforms
  • Availability, means and comfort with travel (including occasional overnight, weekend or evening work)
  • Familiarity and comfort with Apple operating systems

Additional Beneficial Experience

  • Relevant Association Management work experience preferred
  • Experience in handling a high quantity of data processing
  • Familiarity working within database software and generating reports
  • High competency with social media
  • Understanding of differences in print and electronic styles of communication
  • Strong proficiency in both writing and proofreading
