Jane A. Svinicki, CAE to receive 2018 Governor’s Trailblazer Award

Jane A. Svinicki, CAE

Milwaukee, WI (April 4, 2018) – Jane A. Svinicki, CAE, President, Svinicki Association Management Inc., (ARC), is among 17 women selected for 2018 Wisconsin Governor’s Trailblazer Awards for Women in Business. Trailblazer Awards honor the rich legacy and economic impact of women’s business ownership in Wisconsin’s economy.

Jane A. Svinicki, CAE, along with two others, will be recognized in the Business Pioneer Award category honoring companies that have been majority woman-owned for the past 25-years or more – highlighting leadership and lasting economic benefits of women’s business ownership. Svinicki launched ARC in 1986 and has over 30 years of experience managing not for profit trade and professional organizations.

Like most entrepreneurs, I started small, working from home. My vision for the company was that better management would help non-profits achieve their goals. With 17 staff and 26 clients, it has been a privilege to serve our clients, some of the most dynamic, intelligent, visionary volunteers in their respective professions…even if our families don’t understand exactly what we do every day in this niche business,” said Svinicki.

“I was so honored to be nominated by the outstanding staff of Svinicki Association Management Inc.  Their trust in me as President, and service to our company and clients, is what makes ARC a great place to work.”

The Governor’s Trailblazer Awards for Women in Business are hosted by the Office of the Governor, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, and Wisconsin Women’s Council, in partnership with BMO Harris Bank (lead corporate sponsor), The WIDGET Source, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC), Wisconsin Women’s Business Certification Program, and Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC). Awards will be presented in a ceremony at the State Capitol in May.

“The value of these winners is not just in the past accomplishments we celebrate today —  it is also in the women their trailblazing example will inform and inspire in the future to follow their own entrepreneurial passions and dreams,” said Mary Jo Baas, Chair, Wisconsin Women’s Council.

The Wisconsin Women’s Council, established in 1983, promotes initiatives that empower women, serves as a clearinghouse for information on programs and resources, provides research and advocacy, and promotes unique partnerships to address barriers and inequalities affecting Wisconsin women. The Council operates under the guidance of a 15-Member Board appointed by the Governor and Legislative leaders.

ARC is an association management company, founded in 1986, that provides management and administrative services, including staffing, complete office technology and a business location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is ARC’s mission to provide excellent comprehensive management services that empower dynamic associations to succeed.
