Milwaukee, WI (May 23, 2018) – Jane A. Svinicki, CAE, President, Svinicki Association Management Inc., (ARC), received the Wisconsin Governor’s Trailblazer Award on May 23, 2018 at the Wisconsin State Capitol. The Trailblazer Awards honor the rich legacy and economic impact of women’s business ownership in Wisconsin’s economy.
Jane was recognized in the Business Pioneer Award category acknowledging companies that have been majority woman-owned for the past 25-years or more. Svinicki launched ARC in 1986 and has over 30 years of experience managing not for profit trade and professional organizations.
“It is wonderful to be recognized for the accomplishments of my company, but an even greater pleasure is to be nominated by my staff. Every day the amazing employees at ARC help our non-profit clients achieve their goals,” said Svinicki. “It has also been a privilege to serve our clients, some of the most dynamic, intelligent, visionary volunteers in their respective professions.”
The Governor’s Trailblazer Awards for Women in Business are hosted by the Office of the Governor, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, and Wisconsin Women’s Council.
“Wisconsin’s economy continues to thrive thanks to the accomplishments of women from across the state,” said Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. “These exemplary business leaders are a big reason why Wisconsin has a record-low unemployment rate and more people working than ever before. Their leadership is helping move our state forward.”
The Wisconsin Women’s Council, established in 1983, promotes initiatives that empower women, serves as a clearinghouse for information on programs and resources, provides research and advocacy, and promotes unique partnerships to address barriers and inequalities affecting Wisconsin women. The Council operates under the guidance of a 15-Member Board appointed by the Governor and Legislative leaders.
